Description
Being an ‘adult’: what does it actually mean? Eric (Michael Cera) visits his hometown, where his adult sisters (Hannah Gross and Sophia Lillis) still live, for the first time in three years. This quick stop turns into a longer visit when Eric’s gambling addiction draws him into the local poker scene, and old childhood conflicts once again manifest themselves in the lives of these ‘adults’. Michael Cera playing an awkward (young) adult may sound familiar, but the incredible, nuanced dynamic with his sisters makes The Adults (Dustin Guy Defa, Person to Person) a special case.
