The title may have given it away already, but we have a cinematic yet sporty challenge for you! In the action classic Speed (dir. Jan de Bont, 1994), Keanu Reeves finds himself on a moving bus that cannot slow down below a certain velocity, otherwise a bomb will go off. During the Speed Challenge, which we present in collaboration with Sportcity, it is up to you not to go below a certain speed on a spinning bike during the film, just like the bus in Speed. Otherwise, we unfortunately cannot allow you to finish the film…
We present this special at three Sportcity locations simultaneously: Steenschuur, Vlasbaan and Anthony Fokkerweg. When ordering a ticket, you have to select the location at which you would like to participate in the Speed Challenge. Upon arrival, you can warm up and choose your own resistance level. As a condition of our challenge, you are not allowed to adjust the resistance once the film begins…
