Description
In the southernmost part of South America at the beginning of the twentieth century, three men—a Texan mercenary, an officer from the British army and a Chilean guide—are selected to go on an expedition. The expedition, which was meant to be about marking territories and erecting trade routes, quickly shifts into a series of violent raids. Chilean director Felipe Gálvez Haberle delivers a gritty western about colonialism and disputed land ownership as his directorial debut, which is particularly impressive visually.
