Description
During World War II, nine-year-old George is taken to the countryside by his mother (Saoirse Ronan): far away from the bombings in London, but also far away from his family. All on his own, George decides to make the dangerous journey back home. In addition to Saoirse Ronan, Harris Dickinson and Stephen Graham star in suppporting roles in this new film from Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave), who pays tribute with this film to the spirit of London during the Blitz and the perseverance of its inhabitants.
