Description
Anora (the excellent Mikey Madison), a sex worker from Brooklyn, enters into an impulsive relationship with the spoiled son of a Russian oligarch. Is it a little adventure? A fairytale? Or a nightmare instead? It is, in any case, a Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Tangerine) film through and through. And secretly, we are rather proud of Sean Baker, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming at LIFF in 2013 with his film Starlet: he won the Palme d’Or for Anora at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year!
