Description
Samet, an art teacher at a school in a remote part of Turkey, dreams of a better job at a school in Istanbul. His dreams are shattered after accusations of inappropriate conduct with a student come to light. Turkish auteur Nuri Bilge Ceylan (Once Upon a Time in Anatolia) is a master at developing complex and profound drama films. In addition to winning a Golden Palm in Cannes for his film Winter Sleep in 2014, six of his films have been selected as the Turkish entries for the Oscars.
