Description
During a hot summer in Basque Country, a mother and her eight-year-old child explore what it means to be a woman, both together and individually. This leads to heavy confrontations, but also beautiful revelations. Estíbaliz Urresola makes her directorial debut with a delicate Spanish film about gender, family and (you probably guessed it) bees. The performances given by the entire cast in this film are noteworthy, but it is the young lead who stands out in particular and manages to take the viewer along on a personal journey of discovery.
