The thirteenth edition of the Leiden International Film Festival will take place from Friday 2 November – Sunday 11 November 2018. Tickets for all films, parties, and other LIFF activities can be bought online at www.liff.nl The Early Bird ticket sale started at Monday 15 October at 10.00 The regular ticket sale starts at Thursday 18 October at 10:00.

Apart from the online ticket sale, tickets will be sold during the festival starting 1 hour before the start of the first screening at festival locations and at the LIFF festival desk in the Stadsgehoorzaal (Breestraat 60).

PRICES

E-TICKETS
For online purchases you will receive an e-ticket. You don’t have to print the e-ticket, simply show your e-ticket at your smartphone or tablet at the entrance of the screening room. The online ticket sale closes half an hour before the screening. If tickets for specific screenings are not sold out yet, you can still buy tickets at the cash register of the screening location.

RETURN TICKETS
It is not possible to return purchased tickets. The purchase is definite as soon as the payment order is given. In case something went wrong, please send an email to tickets@leidenfilmfestival.nl.

AT THE TICKET COUNTER
Of course it's also possible to purchase your tickets at the ticket counter. During the festival, you’ll be able to purchase your tickets for screenings that are not sold-out at the counter of each festival location, and at the central LIFF Festival Desk (LIFF Festivalbalie) in the Stadsgehoorzaal (Breestraat 60). LIFF does not reserve a certain amount of tickets especially for counter ticket sales.

TO THE MOVIES WITH CINEVILLE
Cineville tickets can be purchased online and at the ticket counter for up to 15 filmsduring LIFF. You will receive an e-ticket, which you will be able to activate at our  Festival Desk (Stadsgehoorzaal) or at the counter at the festival location, from 4 hours to 30 minutes before the start of the screening, upon showing your Cinevillepas. As soon as your Cineville e-ticket is activated at the ticket counter, a bar code will appear on your e-ticket, enabling you to attend your screening.

In the event that you are unable or unwilling to use your reservation, we kindly ask you to cancel your reservation on time, using your Cineville account or the link in your email confirmation. You can cancel your reservation up to 30 minutes before the screening. This will free up a space for other film lovers. If you fail to pick your reservation without cancelling, Cineville has the right to limit your reservation options in the future. Cineville will notify you of this per email.

PREPAID STRIPPENKAART
Coming to LIFF with a large group? There’s a nice discount in it for you. Using the prepaid ‘Strippenkaart’, you can either get a €5 discount on your visit with the prepaid 5 shows, or a €10 discount with the prepaid 10 shows. This will make your group trip even better! Whether you are visiting LIFF with a large group, of just want to watch a lot of films by yourself: the Strippenkaart is there for you. You can purchase your Strippenkaart online or at the LIFF Festival Desk (Breestraat 60).

Please note that the Strippenkaart discount do not apply to the opening night, special screenings, or parties.
