Description
In this new film from acclaimed director Pedro Almodóvar (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Oscar winners Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton star as two old friends who reconnect after years of radio silence when one of them is seriously ill. This leads to a renewed strong bond, but also to new revelations. Despite his impressive oeuvre, Almodóvar won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival for the very first time for this film: a special exploration of friendship, transience, life and death.
