Description
After the resounding success of our Live Foley experience with Buster Keaton’s The General last year, it’s only right that the work of Charlie Chaplin gets the same treatment. In The Kid, Chaplin plays a tramp – a stock character he would play in several films – who discovers an abandoned newborn baby and raises the child himself. Years later and somewhat coincidentally, the mother comes back into the picture. During our Live Foley experience, you not only get to admire Chaplin’s timeless filmmaking efforts, but it is also up to you – the audience – to provide the appropriate sound effects for this silent film.
