Description
In a fit of boredom and mischief, fourteen-year-old Anthony steals a canoe with his cousin, not knowing that this is the beginning of the summer that will define everything that follows and that this will lead to a meeting with his first love. At the Venice Film Festival, rising star Paul Kircher (who could be seen at LIFF last year in Le Règne Animal) won a well-deserved acting award for his all-encompassing leading performance in this gripping coming-of-age film about four eventful French summers in the 1990s, based on the bestseller of the same name.
