Description
Angie and Pat have lived together in Pat’s flat in Hong Kong for 30 years. After Pat’s sudden death, Angie is reminded of her own independence: Pat was the one who always handled everything. Left at the mercy of the ex-in-law’s goodwill, Angie begins her journey to emancipation. Director Ray Yeung (who will be present at LIFF!), as in his film Suk Suk, takes an accurate look at the often uncertain daily lives of the older queer community, with Angie as a quiet but resilient heroine.
