Science Sunday: The Bones

Description

From its discovery in a remote corner to laboratories, museums, auction houses and collectors. The bones of the animal that ruled the world 100 million years ago are now “just” for sale. Through the stories of eccentric characters in this documentary, the film takes you into the complicated situation the dinosaur world finds itself in; caught between commerce and our human drive to unravel a mysterious history.

This screening of The Bones will be introduced by prof. dr. Anne Schulp from Naturalis, who can provide a fascinating look into the current state of affairs of the dinosaur world.
