Description
Twelve-year-old Bailey is going through a lot: her father Bug (Barry Keoghan) pays more attention to her stepmother than to Bailey; her peers don’t really notice her; and her mother’s new boyfriend is a nasty, violent guy. When Bailey meets the eccentric Bird (Franz Rogowski), the two discover that they can help each other in different ways. A poignant coming-of-age film from director Andrea Arnold (American Honey) with a catchy soundtrack and a very promising acting debut by young lead Nykiya Adams.
