Description
Alejandro (Julio Torres, Los Espookys) has just one big dream: to become a successful toy designer. As an immigrant in New York, however, he is overwhelmed by his competition as well as the approaching expiration date of his work visa. Assisting the eccentric Elizabeth (Tilda Swinton), who is trying to exhibit a special collection of paintings by her husband (RZA), might be Alejandro’s last hope. Multi-talent Julio Torres—who not only stars in this film, but also wrote and directed it—presents an unforgettable surrealist comedy as his directorial debut, which, in between all the humor, also hits some truths about the immigrant experience and inequality in the workplace.
