Leiden International Film Festival (LIFF) is looking for a Guest Office Host for the 19th edition of the festival (10 tot 20 oktober 2024). As a part of the Guest Office team, As part of the Guest Office team, you play a crucial role in warmly welcoming and supporting our guests throughout the festival.

Position Guest Office Host
As a host in the Guest Office, you will be part of the team responsible for warmly welcoming and supporting guests. Your duties include greeting guests upon arrival (sometimes coordinating pick-ups from Schiphol Airport), accompanying them to Q&A sessions, providing tours of Leiden, and sharing information about LIFF and the city. All this happens under the guidance of the Guest Office coordinators.
The Guest Office coordinators are busy with preparations prior to the festival, including preparing informative brochures, coordinating guest arrivals, planning Q&A sessions in collaboration with the programming team, arranging accreditation for guests, organizing transport from Schiphol Airport to hotels, compiling goodie bags, and managing the department’s planning and team leadership.
Your Role
Your responsibilities
- Warmly welcoming guests during the festival and assisting with their needs.
- Escorting guests to Q&A sessions and ensuring they receive their badges, goodie bags, and other relevant information.
- Providing tours of Leiden.
- Sharing information about the festival.
- Maintaining contact with the programming team regarding the Q&As.
Working hours
The role requires availability throughout the film festival, which takes place from October 10 to 20, 2024. During this period, flexibility in working hours is expected, including evenings and weekends.
