Opening film: My Old Ass

On October 10, the nineteenth edition of the Leiden International Film Festival will start with the Dutch premiere of My Old Ass (dir. Megan Parker) at the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden. In this film, Elliot (18) gets into a conversation with her 39-year-old self during a mushroom trip. The advice Elliot gives herself changes her perspective on her own life. A refreshing coming-of-age film starring Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza.
